Fees
| This Practice is a Mixed Billing practice. Each service provider's fee is at that individual Doctors discretion. What does mixed billing mean? Some appointments will have an out-of-pocket fee also known as a GAP payment, and some consults may be eligible to be bulk billed. | Vaccines Most childhood vaccination and influenza vaccines are provided free if you are eligible through Medicare. We will notify you if there is a fee for the vaccine. There will be fees for travel vaccinations, as these are not funded by Medicare. |
| Payment: For any service that is not funded by Medicare, the doctor will advise you of the fee before the service is provided. We accept payment via Cash or EFTPOS and an immediate Medicare rebate is accessible through our payment system. Full payment is required at the time of consultation. The gap between your Medicare rebate and the consultation charge is the OUT OF POCKET amount. Our on the spot processing will put the Medicare rebate back into the bank account right away. If opting to pay only the gap amount then an additional Fee of $5.00 is applied. Billing Policy:

Cancellation Policy: If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and have not called to notify of your non-attendance, then a cancellation fee of $40.00 may be charged. |

There will be a Gap payment for all First time patients or non-regular patients of Dr Wy (non regular patient is defined as not attending the practice for >12months). Standard Consult (10 minutes) - $63.40 Rebate - $41.40 Out of pocket - $22.00 Long Consult (20 minutes) - $125.10 Rebate - $80.10 Out of pocket - $45.00 Dr Wy will waive the Gap Payment for all pension and healthcare card holders, child and student, and those in financial hardship. Discuss this option upon booking if required.

(non regular patient is defined as not attending the practice for >12months). Any new patient, regardless of pension or HCC status, the Gap fee will be applied. To be considered a regular patient of Dr Lai you will need to be seeing him for a minimum of 12 months.

Dr Mock Musculoskeletal treatment: Initial Assessment Consultation 45 minutes - $ 440 * Medicare Rebate of $118.00 can be deposited back onto the paying card, * Out of pocket expense being $ 322.00 Musculoskeletal Treatment : Price depend on the procedure being performed. This will be discussed at the time of initial assessment. |
| Dr Param Singh: Bulk billing for Medicare Card holders that may include a GAP payment. There will be a Gap payment for all First time practice patients or non regular patients. (non regular patient is defined as not attending the practice for >12months). Standard Consult (10 minutes) - $63.40 Rebate - $ 41.40 Out of pocket - $22.00 Long Consult (20 minutes) - $ 102.10 Rebate - $80.10 Out of pocket - $22.00 Skin Cancer checks : Time based consults and may include a gap depending on any procedure involved. Procedures : All procedures are mixed billed with a gap. Please discuss with Dr Singh regarding the fee. The fee depends on the procedure performed. Dr Singh will waive the Gap Payment for all pension and healthcare card holders, children and student, and those in financial hardship for all the consultations but need to pay for the precedures.
